Can you copy and paste the Waltograph font?
You can copy the words, but the receiving app chooses the font. Waltograph’s distinctive lettering comes from a font file, not a separate Unicode alphabet. A “Waltograph copy and paste” result made from ordinary symbols will not reproduce those shapes.
Use decorated text for a short bio or message. Use a PNG for a picture, invitation or scrapbook heading when you want the actual lettering to remain visible. For editable text in a design app, install or import the font there if that app and your license allow it.
How to make Waltograph lettering
- Type a short name, greeting or heading above.
- Choose Actual font artwork and select the extracted font file from your device. A ZIP archive must be extracted first.
- Adjust the size, color, background and alignment. Add line breaks for a two-line greeting.
- Download the PNG. A transparent background works well when placing lettering over a picture.
The artwork preview stays blank until a font loads successfully. If you load another font, the result uses that file; the tool does not certify it as Waltograph.

Ideas to try
“Maya’s birthday”, “Our family adventure” and “A little magic” are useful short tests. Start with one line for a name; use two lines for a card. Check punctuation and accented letters in the preview before saving, because character coverage depends on the font you load.
Font use and licensing
Justin Callaghan’s font FAQ describes the fonts as free for personal, noncommercial use and directs commercial inquiries to the author. Read the license supplied with your copy before using it. Fontalic does not grant font rights and is not affiliated with Disney.
Fontalic does not bundle the Waltograph font here. Loading a file locally lets you use your own copy without uploading it. PNG export preserves the appearance of the rendered text; it does not make the font license broader or produce cutting paths.

Why does pasted text look different?
Text copying transfers characters. The destination controls their typeface. Save artwork as a PNG when you need the preview’s letter shapes to stay intact.
Can I use the PNG in Canva?
You can add the downloaded PNG as an image where image uploads are supported. Its lettering will not be editable as text. Font upload availability depends on your account and the design app.
Is this suitable for Cricut cutting?
The PNG is raster artwork, not an SVG with cutting paths. For a cut project, use a properly licensed font in your design software and inspect the resulting paths and joins.
Why will my font file not load?
Extract ZIP files first, then select an OTF, TTF, WOFF or WOFF2 file under 10 MB. A damaged or unsupported font can fail. Try the other file from the creator’s archive.
Are the text decorations actual Waltograph?
No. They pair ordinary letters with decorative symbols for copying into text fields. Use the artwork option with your Waltograph file for the actual typeface.
