About this Extremely Small Font Generator

Fontalic maps supported letters to small-looking Unicode characters such as superscript, modifier, or miniature forms. It does not reduce the actual CSS font size, and the available alphabet is incomplete. Some results mix forms because no tiny equivalent exists for every character.

How to use the generator

  1. Enter a short label, name, aside, or caption.
  2. Compare superscript-like, subscript-like, and compact styles.
  3. Choose Load more fonts for additional variations.
  4. Copy one option and test it at normal zoom on a phone.

Small-looking text can create access problems

The W3C guidance on resizing text explains why users need text that can scale without losing content or function. Unicode miniature characters may remain visually tiny even when surrounding text grows, so never use them for essential information.

Reserve tiny forms for optional accents

Use small text for a brief aside, profile decoration, playful label, or compact name. Keep warnings, prices, dates, links, and instructions ordinary. If any character is unclear, select a larger-looking result or repeat the wording plainly.

Extremely Small Font Generator FAQs

Does this actually change the font size?

No. It substitutes small-looking Unicode characters while the surrounding text size remains controlled by the app.

Why are some letters taller than others?

Unicode does not provide one complete miniature alphabet, so styles may combine characters from different sets.

Can I use tiny text for disclaimers?

No. Important terms and disclosures should be clearly readable in standard text.

Does this tool create a downloadable font file?

No. It generates styled Unicode text that you can copy and paste without installing a typeface.

Why can a result look different after pasting?

The receiving app and device choose how each Unicode character is rendered, so small visual differences are normal.

How do I reveal more styles?

Select Load more fonts beneath the first group of results.
