Make graffiti text in two useful formats
A graffiti font generator turns ordinary words into street-art lettering. Use Create Graffiti Image when you need a visual for a logo idea, poster, thumbnail, sticker, or social post. Use Copy and Paste Text when you need characters that can go directly into a profile, caption, message, or username.
Which graffiti format should you use?
Best visual quality
Downloadable graffiti artwork
This mode uses real display fonts and lets you change the fill, outline, background, size, spacing, and canvas shape. Download a high-resolution PNG, including a transparent version that is easy to layer into another design.
Best for profiles and captions
Copy-and-paste graffiti text
This mode swaps ordinary letters for Unicode symbols. It remains editable text after you copy it. Appearance and character support can vary by app, device, language, and username field.

Popular graffiti lettering styles
Graffiti is broader than one typeface. Start with the structure that matches the mood and the space available in your design.
Spray paint
Speckled edges suggest aerosol texture without adding a photo background.
Handstyle tag
Loose handwritten forms work well for names, marks, and fast signatures.
Dripping paint
Liquid forms add movement to posters, horror graphics, and event art.
Block throw-up
Wide outlined letters stay readable in thumbnails and compact layouts.
Scratch marker
Rough marker strokes fit labels, zines, skater graphics, and informal notes.
Paint pen
Expressive ink shapes create an energetic title without losing legibility.
What can you make with it?
Names and graffiti tags
Explore letter shapes and color combinations before sketching a personal tag.
Posters and event flyers
Export a transparent title and place it over your own photo or flat color layout.
Social posts and thumbnails
Use the square, portrait, story, or landscape canvas preset for common content formats.
Stickers and merch concepts
Create a quick visual mockup, then refine the result in your preferred design software.
Graffiti font vs. original graffiti lettering
A font repeats a designed set of letters, so it is fast, consistent, and useful for previews. Original graffiti lettering is drawn for a particular word, which lets the artist connect, overlap, stretch, and reshape each letter. This generator is a practical starting point for a design, not a replacement for an original commission or an artist's handstyle.
Use generated artwork only on property and projects you are allowed to modify. For client work, products, or trademarks, review the selected font's license and test the final design at its intended size.
Graffiti font generator questions
How do I make my name look like graffiti?
Enter your name at the top of the generator, choose Create Graffiti Image, and select a lettering style. Adjust the fill, outline, background, size, and spacing until the name is readable and balanced, then download the PNG.
Can I copy and paste a graffiti font?
Yes, when you use the Copy and Paste Text mode. It converts letters into Unicode characters that can be copied as text. Real font previews in the image mode must be downloaded as an image because another app may not have that font installed.
Can I download graffiti text with a transparent background?
Yes. Keep Transparent PNG background checked and select Download PNG. The saved image has no background, which makes it easier to place over another design.
Are the graffiti fonts free for commercial use?
The image tool uses open-source font families served through Google Fonts. License terms can differ, so use the View font and license link beside the preview and confirm the selected family's current terms before commercial or trademark use.
Why does copied graffiti text look different in some apps?
Unicode styles depend on the fonts and characters supported by each platform. Some username fields also reject decorative symbols. Try a simpler style if a character becomes a box, question mark, or blank space.
Does this work on phones and tablets?
Yes. The generator is designed for touch screens and modern mobile browsers. You can make an image, download it to your device, or tap a Unicode result to copy it.
Is my text uploaded or stored?
The live preview and PNG are generated inside your browser. Fontalic can measure anonymous actions such as a style selection or download, but the words you enter are not included in those events.
