Want a message to feel a little more personal? Fontalic creates Unicode-based text styles you can copy and try in Viber and other messaging apps. This is an independent tool, not an official Viber feature. For more choices, explore our copy-and-paste font generator or start again with the online font generator.

Copy-and-paste styles versus Viber formatting

Viber already supports its own message formatting. Its official help page explains bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace formatting in chats. Fontalic does something different: it creates styled characters you copy as text, so the appearance is carried by the characters rather than Viber formatting commands.

That makes this generator useful for a short greeting, nickname or emphasis line. It is less suitable for a long conversation, where ordinary text is faster to read and easier to understand. A little styling usually has more impact than decorating every sentence.

Test before you send

Type the exact words you want, choose a readable result and copy it. Paste into Viber before sending to confirm the characters appear correctly on your device. The recipient’s device may use different fallback fonts, so very decorative symbols can look slightly different.

Many of these styles remain copyable because they use Unicode characters. The Unicode Standard documents several styled letter-like alphabets. Keep phone numbers, links and important instructions in ordinary text, and use unusual styling as a small accent.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official Viber tool?+
No. Fontalic is independent and this generator is not affiliated with or endorsed by Viber. Use it as an optional styling layer for your own messages and profile text.
Does Viber have built-in formatting?+
Yes. Viber documents bold, italic, strikethrough and monospace message formatting in its official help center. The two approaches are different, so built-in formatting is usually better for normal chat while generated text is more decorative.
What does this generator add?+
It creates Unicode-based styled characters that you can copy and test in compatible text fields. It is best for a short nickname, greeting or emphasis line rather than an entire conversation.
Will every style display on Viber?+
Not guaranteed. Character support and fallback fonts can vary by device and app version. Send yourself a quick test first if the exact appearance matters.
What should I avoid styling?+
Keep links, phone numbers and important instructions in ordinary text for clarity. Decorative characters work better as accents around the message than around information someone must act on.
Do I need to install a font?+
No. The output is copy-and-paste text rather than a font file. Generate the style in your browser, copy it, then check it in Viber before sending.
